After becoming one of the youngest pilots to solo in a helicopter and aeroplane at 17, Jack Manchester turned his skills and feel for speed to motor racing.
Cutting his teeth in the UK and European Radical Championships, Jack quickly established himself as one of the best racers on the Radical circuit with eight podium finishes in the 2017 season. Three wins in just four race weekends placed Jack third in the European Championship, preparing him for his greatest challenge yet.
For 2018, Jack graduated to the Blancpain GT Series at the wheel of the Team Thunderhead Mercedes-AMG GT3 prepared by AKKA ASP Team. Defying expectations with a class podium on his debut, a win and seven further podiums allowed Jack to clinch two major titles; Blancpain GT Series Silver Cup – Sprint Cup Champion, and Blancpain GT Series Silver Cup Champion.
In 2019, Jack is racing a Dallara P217 LMP2 under the new Thunderhead Carlin Racing banner in the European Le Mans Series. Fellow British drivers Harry Tincknell and Ben Barnicoat join Jack for six rounds across the season, with the experienced Olivier Pla standing in for Harry in the opening round.
