Manchester is one of two newcomers to the AKKA-ASP team, including Jules Szymkowiak and they will be driving alongside Nico Bastian, who is already known to the team.
Jack, 19, made his motorsports debut in 2016 in the UK and European Radical Championships, quickly establishing himself as one of the best racers on the Radical circuit.
A regular on the podium from the outset, Jack’s 2017 season culminated in eight podium finishes, including three wins in just four race weekends at the end of the year, placing him third in the European Championship.
After encouraging winter tests with Team AKKA-ASP, Jack decided to compete this year with the French team in the prestigious Blancpain GT series.
Dutch driver Jules Szymkowiak, 22, makes up the third member of the trio. He is the reigning Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup Silver Cup Champion, who has been racing the Blancpain GT Series since 2015. Having driven the Mercedes-AMG GT3 it since 2016, Jules will bring valuable experience to this crew.
